Any big issues with the new wolverine rmax2 850 looking at the rspec? I know china vs japan i am just very torn between the 2 i dont ride a ton but when i do it is 8 plus hrs at a time my gut tells me yamaha wallet tells me zforce 950 .thans in advance

Cfmoto seems to be decent, they are week built and have been around longer than any of the other Chinese built atv/sxs that hit the market then fizzle out after they have sold peoples money. When cfmoto first started selling, they had almost zero dealer network, most were shall mom and pop garages or small businesses owners selling them on the side as an extra income. They were built with some great parts, yamaha diff lock, actual elka shocks (when elka want really well known like they are now) and a few others. Next to no aftermarket accessories.
Now look at them, huge growing dealer network, really stand behind thier priduct, starting to see the aftermarket industry pick up for them. Thier price has come up too as expected with the better support, and better product.

Was looking at a 2023 950 CF moto sport SXS 60" second gen, the other day, a really really nice machine, looked well built and it seems CFMOTO is listening to its customers, lots of extras and seemed well laid out, I'm 6'4 and fit very comfortable in it compared to the 800 wolverine, Warranty seems good, my Yamaha dealer sells them, was talking to their main mechanic and he said not to much warranty work on them, no worst than the Yamaha's, have been following CF MOTO for a while now, I may consider this SXS, worth checking out if your in the market.
They're definitely a nice machines, a lot better built than most of the other so-called cheap brands. Warranty is good and they are starting to get a much better dealer network now than when they first started out. I've looked into them myself. My only issue is that I know seven or eight people that have bought either one of the larger c-force or one of the U-force machines, run them for three or four years and sell them and move on to usually a Can-Am. Almost always the same complaint, lack of power compared to the competition and really start falling apart after about 4 years even with basic maintenance. That alone has kind of deterred me from picking up one of the big U-force side by sides. Two of the guys that bought the big ATVs aren't really a good example to go by as they could literally destroy dirt if they tried. They are hard on machines. But the rest of the guys are all pretty much average users with only one of them using his side by side. Pretty hard hauling wood and moose, both very heavy loads. CFMoto has held up but like I said after just a few years he moved on also to a bigger more powerful Can-Am.

Yeah more power seems to draw users, the new 950 sport I think is 87hp which is plenty for me, just like the options that come on them and they do have their own line of accessories now, shocks on them seem of good quality with adjustability with 2 stage springs, Front and rear suspension geometry has been changed with arched front and rear a arms and have been repositioned for better ride and to be more stabile on the gen 2, CVT clutching is very good to, the gen 2 chassis is way more easier to work on and to do servicing on that the gen 1, like the fact that all electronics are protected inside the cab. alot of thought has gone into the gen 2, There wasn't alot of things I didn't like on the 950 sport, so I must say I was impressed, durability I would say is as good as a Polaris if not better if that's saying something, lol
One thing that I can't seem to find any information on about CFMoto suspension is who it's made by now. When they first hit the market back like 10 or 15 years ago, they're suspension was all Elka, they used it as a selling point. The Canadian made suspension company that not very many people had heard of back then. Now look at them lol so it would be great if they did still run an Elka suspension, even if it was a generic form. Not quite like the one through five stage that we grab for all the current bikes. Either way, you know that it's a suspension that is made by a company that knows what they're doing.
The reviews on the Gen 2 on the 950 sport rides alot better then the Gen 1, the shocks look alot different then the Gen1 Elka clones they where using, looks alot like the fox QS3 Adjustable shox with the one knob adjustable with the CFMOTO logo on them, not sure who is making the suspensions but lots of changes were made for ride and handling.
Yeah like I was saying way back when they first hit the market they had actual Elka shocks, not clones actually made by Elka labeled Elka. Advertised Elka shocks too. But the stuff that's on them now doesn't look to be the same quality as what the non elka labeled shocks were e last few years. They look to be much better now. Similar in build quality as the original Elka shocks.
