My Grizzly has developed a condition where the Reverse light comes on when in either forward speed. This causes the engine to slow down, as if the machine is getting confused. If the Reverse light happens to go off, the engine will rev up normally, but it never stays off long enough to gain forward speed. I can putt along at 5-6 mph, but anything above 10 mph will create a stall. The engine never shuts off but stutters and drops rpms. The condition is worse when the engine is cold but never goes away. This habit started about 6 months ago and I have not adjusted anything.

Any ideas are appreciated.

The reverse switch or wire is normally the cause of you issue. The reverse switch wire can be ground out to bypass the rev-limiter. However it's best to get it fixed.

2001 was the first year for 660's. 600's before then. 600 are air cooled.
