Like to know the towing capacity for my Grizzly 660 4x4? I’ve read 485, disappointed if that is true. I’ve read where 2006 Grizzly is 1200 lbs.

I bet you it was 485 kg, Not lbs. Lol.

I mite be wrong but I dought there's much different between an 02 and an 06 660s towing capacity.

All Grizzly 660's have the same tow and rack carrying limits.

The bike itself can easily handle more weight than what the manufacturer states.....except for the piss poor factory tow hitch on the 660. It's a very weak set up and will break off long before the limits of the bike are reached.

If you want to do some regular towing duties with the 660, make up or purchase a 2" receiver that attaches to the frame.

My old 2002 660 was great for towing, rated for 1200 lbs and like suggested get a receiver hitch if your doing much, the OEM will snap off sooner or later. There is a thread on this site on receiver options.
