Trail Jealousy

Ok, I'm a bit jealous! I just talked with a customer of ours that is on his way from Maine to W. Virginia for a Twin Disc Marine Gear sponsored trail ride on the Hatfield/McCoy system! I wouldn't have known a thing about that system if it weren't for this forum! It's on my bucket list. So, if any of you run into a wild Mainer named Roger down there over the next few days, give him a thumbs up!

That's a great idea. I'm going to do some serious thinking on that for next year. Right now we are starting our archery season for deer, ruffed grouse season, moose season, then firearms for deer in Nov., then muzzleloader for deer in Dec., then it's frigging cold. Mid June to mid August next summer would be good. The Moose Loop trail over in western Maine, the Moosehead Lake loop up around the lake, or a big loop we could put together over here in eastern Maine would all be good. I'll keep you posted.

So I am starting to gather up trail maps, contact clubs, etc. to see what might make for a great ride if some of you guys can make it up here next year. When I get 2 or 3 good options put together, I'll start a new thread for it, with links to the clubs, lodging, etc. I'm already getting pretty cranked up about it! Hope we can pull it off.
