Wench problem?

The cable is probably bound up on the drum.
Have you ever pulled the cable completely out and reeled it back in? This is something that should be done on a routine basis if you use your winch regularly, especially when plowing.
If you have only used the winch for plowing, then you may get away with only pulling the cable out about 10' or so.

Thank u for the idea but I use a 5’ piece of tow strap. Cable sucks and always gets bound up. I think I am going clean up all the power and ground connections and go from there.

I usually get my wench to work on my winch problems :laugh:
