Hey fellow grizzly owners,

This is my first post to the forums and would gladly appreciate your input. I just bought a 2000 Grizzly 600 and have run into a issue with the nut that holds the wet clutch in place. From all my digging on this forum it was pretty much stated that the 600 wet clutch nut is righty loosey lefty tighty. Imagine my surprise when the nut would not budge until I used a dremmel with a mini zip disc and carefully removed part of the staking metal, and noticed that the threads were righty tighty lefty loosey. No damage to the threads after I got the nut off but my question is:

Is this crankshaft out of a different model grizzly or did some units come with right hand threaded crank shafts?

What model grizz should I look up to get a new clutch nut?

700 machines have the left hand threads. All others are right hand. Use a torque wrench and a dab of Loctite.
