That doesn't look to be a valid VIN number for an ATV. Yamaha's VIN number should be starting with a number then letter. Typically a j or y. Also your 10th digit which is your year. Should be a letter back then. Not a number. Take a look at your frame next to the front left tire on the inside edge of the frame

Here is a link to an old auction for a 2003 Kodiak 450 that lists the VIN (5Y4AJ07Y53A015323) - Lot # : 854I - 2003 Yamaha Kodiak 450 4x4 ATV

If you compare the VIN the OP posted (514AJ06W020501665), chances are the OP's VIN 2nd character should actually be 5Y4AJ06W020501665. There could be another off character as well as even that revised VIN doesn't decode.

If you run that auction then through a Yamaha Vin id it comes up invalid. Not sure why.

I'm really starting to think that none of the Vin identifiers online actually work. I even entered the VIN number from my own old Kodiak a 2018 and it came up in valid in every VIN decoder .

That should definitely be a 2002 bike.

If you remove the seat, is there an identification sticker there anywhere that shows the VIN number and the year of the bike along with some other information, possibly a barcode?
