Why’s the shift shaft in the way?
Hey guys. Anyone know why my shift shaft is blocking this plastic cover? There’s a groove for it and it’s nowhere close.

it was like this when I got it. No clue why. As you can see I also had to shave the aftermarket pull starter to make it fit but I assumed that’s because it’s an off brand
