I wouldn't hold my breath on a twin Grizzly....or new Grizzly at all.
I only say this because Yamaha has done no teasing commercials about something new. If a new Grizzly model was coming, Yamaha would have videos posted with sneak peaks.....the same thing they have been doing for years.

But I have been wrong before.

Dezz, I could be wrong, but did they release a teaser video before the new grizzly came out? All I remember is teasers for the new SxS's

I had been anxiously waiting for a new grizzly model and don't recall any teasers before it was released on their site in June I believe it was, of 2015. What gave me the hopes that a new one was coming, was when the wolverine was released, I figured that engine was gonna go in a new wheeler. And it did.

My thoughts on the 847 twin ending up in a new grizzly are that they will not do it this quick after spending all the money on retooling for the 16 model. They have to make some profit first. So two things could happen. Either it'll be several more years before another grizzly update is done, or, they could possibly keep the current machine as an option for people that don't care about the added power or cost of the twin, as well as offer a new grizzly with the 847. Time will tell.
