Checking the owners manual and it appears that the engine oil change interval is 2500 km or 160 hours, which ever comes first. Is this correct? That seems like a long time, for me that would be an annual oil change.

If you are like me and run tracks in winter ,then after the initial break-in period, I change oil atleast once in the fall with a lighter grade oil for atv's and then in spring going back to a heavier oil all the while checking the fluids etc. and just doing general maintenance like a good little ATV owner.Checking the owners manual and it appears that the engine oil change interval is 2500 km or 160 hours, which ever comes first. The amount of riding I do in the run of a year I change oil and filter spring and again in the fall, I have a 2016 Grizz and read a couple of articles on oil changes with new atv engines and they suggested to change the engine oil and filter 3-4 times in the first year to get rid of any machining debris left behind from the factory your engine will last longer if this is done in the first year, the next time I service in about a month it will be my forth oil change, than I will start just spring and fall with the changes, I also started running ow30 semi yamalube a very good quality oil in the third change and will stick with that for the life of the machine. thanks :icon_ goofy:Checking the owners manual and it appears that the engine oil change interval is 2500 km or 160 hours, which ever comes first.
