Please could someone give me some advice on how to fix my Grizzly 125. It starts and idles perfectly but as soon as I put it in any gear it cuts out.It jumps forward and cuts out or if I put it in reverse the back lifts and cuts out. Any ideas?

idle rpm is adjusted too high would be my best guess at this point.
I am not familiar with the Grizzly 125 clutch setup. I looked through the IPC and noticed it is different than the bigger Ultramatic models. It does not look like it has a oneway bearing to seize or put in backwards.
What year is the ATV? I took a guess looking at different years.
Sounds like something is jamming up the drive gearing. You said it lifted up when in reverse. If the engine can’t turn the wheel it will bog down and kill itself. Just a guess based on what your describing.
X-2 with dezz, we need more info about your grizz.
I haven't work on a 125 but we can help if you help us.
dezz, does the primary on this bike (following schematic) turn when the engine starts?
You have to apply the left hand break to go into reverse without killing it, it’s a safety feature. If it is making a load clicking noise in forward or reverse prior to going into gear, the idle is too high. If that’s the case and the choke is on, let it warm up first and then try off the choke.
I asked for you to confirm the system, so if the O.P.'er returns he might add more information about his ride.
