Mice got into my 2015 700 eps.

Everything works except the 4x4/diff lock. And the brake over ride to start in gear.

Thats the "only" damage. Its one dead head of wires. Yl/bl and yl/wh go into a connector and comes out as 2 yellow wires. What do all the rest do?

I'm thinking they just loop so splice to their own color or dead end there. Several lights too i know.

Anyone know?

Insurance salesmen, politicians and Yamaha dealers are like Beagles: Making noise to get something but go silent when their expenses increase.
Chicken don't have an opinion, maybe they can learn about continuity testing.
The Beagle must sleep in the house.

Problem is I have a beagle. The neighbors cats come around and the beagle chases them off. But I have the beagle to protect the chickens.

Funny thing is I have 6 atv sitting in a row there. And a motorcycle. Only the grizzly got attacked. I live in the woods and never had a mouse issue before. The raptor 110, raptor 660, suzuki 160, Honda 300, and the old zinger are fine. And the deere mower.

I called insurance and my inland marine should cover the damage he said. Would call me back real quick.... never did. But if that's the case I'll take it to the yamaha place and get a new harness. If not I'll figure it out.

The quad starts in N and P. Runs fine. Fan works. Just no 4x4. No start in gear (the yellow wires I mentioned fixed that part). And no lights anywhere. All the lights are brown wire so id have to power probe them to see which one is which.

The 4x4/diff lock id have to look up too. They go into the bundle one color and change colors somewhere. Only one gr/rd wire.

I own a shop and work on these things pretty regular though. I get a mouse/chipmonk out of a cabin air filter on somebodies car every week and splice and replace harnesses on cars and tractor and such occasionally.

Perks of everyone living in the woods.

Splice to their own color and check the wiring going down the left front frame tube to the diff: And get a cat that only scratches on the seat cover.
