Hello , im new here, not sure if there a post for this, but here we go. My carburetor is leaking from the bottom.. right where that screw is. How do I stop this?. I ordered a rebuild kit, cause these carburetors are expensive. Lol. Also anyone know where that wire goes ?. The one with the hook on it?. I circled the leak and the wire with the hook. Thank you for all the help.

Welcome from Colorado.
The float needs adjusting.
The wire holds the idle adjusting cable laying below the wire.

It's most likely the floats but rather than needing adjusting I would bet either the needle jet or the seat has deteriorated. This is preventing the fuel supply to the bowl from getting shut off. Should be a fairly east fix, good luck.

ETA; After thinking about it a little more if it was the floats the gas shouldn't be leaking from the bottom. That port is only for draining the bowl so maybe something is stuck in there stopping it from shutting all the way.

I could have said float setting needs checking; as once I too had gas running from the bowl drain after installing a different jet......$hit!
I removed the bowl and maybe bumped something causing the float to reposition, and the bowl stopped leaking without finding trash in the bowl or replacing the needle/seat parts.
With clean gas: If the needle/seat leak, gas runs into the engine; if the seat/needle are tight then pressure from the tank above forces gas out the overflow drain.

Clean the float valve needle & seat. Check condition of rubber O-ring (needle & seat). Most likely that should cure the problem. If you don't do it already, get use to turning the petcock off after riding. That will cure gas runing into the engine.
